literati vs scrabble

yesterday my 16 yr old sis told me to stop messing up my literati games, pay attention and win some if any. looking at her i said well madam td not everyone is a literati genie ass (our own version of genius). and well i only play because i am bored and have nothing better to do, and i just like to play, not to win but just for the sake of keeping in touch with words. well she exclaimed putting her hands on her hips you should try to win, whats the fun in losing. i dont lose on purpose i exclaimed. then i resignedly said, anyway i like scrabble better. in literati you can make any word under the sun. slangs, latin words, and abbreviations and all the words which shouldnt exist. i mean language extension......dude there should be limits to that also. in good old scrabble you can only make proper words. the way we were taught, no self constructed words and you can also challenge the other person for words which are not in the oxford ki dictionary. all the while playing literati i am thinking, hey is that a word.....playing literati with chai i asked hey is that a word? and her reply to it was, now it is! and then her evil laugh. hahah.

well but literati is addcitive. so is scrabble. i rmember mom dad and td playing scrabble evry night in the good old days when they werent so busy. td managed to win everytime. i wouldnt play with them because they had no time limit and each turn went on for hours if not days hahah. i would start watching tv and watch a whole programme till my turn came again. but it was fun watching them. most of the time i had the dictionary to check if ceratin words existed. i remember playing scrabble with I. mamo and 3 times i challenged him on his seven letter words. twice his words were wrong so at the third one which turned right he goes aha!! one out of 3 that aint bad hahaha. wel tukka tau kabhi kabhi chal jata hai
